I have had the privilege and honor of providing a quality education to all of my students throughout my career as a math teacher, math supervisor, and assistant principal. Outside of the classroom, I have tutored students of all ages, whether they’re in middle school, high school, college, or even adults who are going back to school. My students have had much success and have drastically improved their grades and math comprehension.

Tutoring sessions tend to last for one hour, but I am able to extend or lessen the time if needed. Sessions occur after 5 PM on weekdays and I can accommodate weekend sessions, if needed. Tutoring sessions can be held in-person or virtually. As a Level 2 Google Certified Educator, I will be using Google Apps to offer a highly robust learning experience for all that I tutor virtually.

Before our first session, I will request some prior knowledge of the student, such as grades, known areas of struggle, past experiences with math, and the book the student is currently using in school. I will then cater the tutoring session to their needs, whether it be reviewing concepts, assisting with difficult material, working on assessment strategies, advancing in the material, and/or refreshing skills over the summer and preparing for the upcoming course. If additional materials are needed, I will come prepared with extra resources/worksheets.
